Wind Plays a Significant Factor at U.S. Open
Sept. 5 -- The 25 mph winds whipping through the U.S. Open complex forced many adjustments from the players, as some accomplished that goal better than others.
But through the first week, nothing seemed to bother the players as much as the wind-tunneled courts. Their shots hooked and curled on the opposite sides of the alley. Players bent into awkward stances to adjust their returns. Tosses on serves skidded out of control.
Unsurprisingly, among the best to adjust was Roger Federer, who made changed to line of vision, hooking balls toward the lines instead of punching them right at the corner and advancing to the next round.
Roger Federer DVDs carries complete match DVDs, including trophy presentations. We also have some of the Top-Rated tennis matches of all-time, in addition to historic wins from Federer, such as in the 2009 Wimbledon tournament, wherein he broke the record for the most men's Grand Slam victories, or his classic win over Rafael Nadal in 2007, as well as many other major title wins.
