Soderling Wins Netherlands ATP Tournament

Feb. 15 -- Sweden's Robin Soderling won his fifth ATP championship on Sunday at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in the Netherlands.

Soderling, the tournament's No. 3 seed, was declared the winner when sixth-seeded Russian Mikhail Youzhny retired with a thigh injury. Soderling was ahead 6-4, 2-0 when the match was called.

Soderling was a first-round loser in his first two tournaments of 2010 and dropped his first set at Rotterdam before reeling off 10 consecutive set victories. He collected $380,000 with the tournament title.
