ATP World Tour Finals Sunday Order of Play

Nov. 22 -- The opening day of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals features world No. 4 Andy Murray against No. 5 and US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro in the first singles Group A match. Both players are appearing in the year-end finale for the second straight season. Murray holds a 4-1 lifetime advantage over del Potro. This is their fourth meeting of the season and their previous three encounters came in ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments (Miami, Madrid, Montreal).

In the evening Group A singles match, world No. 1 Roger Federer, a four-time year-end champion (2003-04, ’06-07), takes a 3-0 career mark against Fernando Verdasco,who is making his tournament debut. Federer is making his eighth straight season finale appearance and he holds a 27-5 lifetime record.

In doubles Group A action, the opening match Sunday is between world No. 1 and defending champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonic, who bring a 5-2 record against the No. 8 seeded Polish duo of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski.

In the evening session match, the veteran duo of No. 3 Mahesh Bhupathi and Mark Knowles meet the No. 5 seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak for the first time.
